We have a critical opportunity to tell our legislators why they need to vote against the Governor's Bill HB6667. These awesome patriots took the time last 2A Tuesday but we may only have one more chance. We need to fill that room!

Let the legislature know how components of the bill will impact you and why they MUST NOT support it! Make the commitment now to join us on 2A Tuesday at the State Capitol on Tuesday, May 23rd between 9:30 AM to 6 PM for as much time as you can spare. Do not allow the Governor's Bill to be unopposed! We will make our voices heard and advocate for our unalienable rights.
 
Your participation is essential to the success of this event. Our goal is to tell the legislators how components of this bill will unfairly impact responsible gun owners and must not be supported. Also, they must see how many law abiding firearms owners and 2nd Amendment supporters are in Connecticut and that we are significant voting population! This is why your presence is so important!

HB6667 AN ACT CONCERNING GUN VIOLENCE "2023 ASSAULT WEAPON BAN" is expected to come up for a vote any day now. We need all our members who are passionate about making a difference in our state to be in Hartford on 2A Tuesday.

We need you to act now and reach out to your state representative. There are many legislators saying they have not heard from us. Make sure your voice is heard and let them know what you stand for, if you are planning on attending 2A Tuesday, request a meeting with them when you are there. It may seem like a small act but has a tremendous impact.

This is an opportunity to meet with your legislators in person, to share your stories and experiences, and to advocate for your rights that are important to you.

Last week many CCDL members were able to have a face-to-face meeting with their legislators because they were in the building.
 
The event will take place from 9:30 AM to 6 PM at the State Legislative Office Building located at 300 Capitol Ave, Hartford, CT. Come for the whole day or just a few hours. Any time that you can be available makes a difference!
