Any truth to these guns going off on their own?

There's a well-respected lawyer from CT who is leading several of those cases.  I'm not sure if they have settled or not.  I have a tough time believing it myself, but the volume of these is making me be flexible in my thinking.  That said, I believe the sear is at 100% tension in that design which is pretty extreme.  I don't think any of the manual safety M17/18s have any reported discharges.
