Meriden R&G St Judes event
« on: September 26, 2021, 12:33:50 PM »
As far as I know, it's October 9th this year.
It won't be your chance to shoot over 75 yards with your rifle, but the food alone is worth the admission fee (usually $10).
Pistol, rifle, trap (~ $5), archery, fishing pond, raffles and so forth...

That's cool, I assume its open like a fairground and you can go to each of the stations?

It's open house. If there are no ports available at the range, you may have to wait, but you are free to use any of their facilities. They do require you to sign up for trap and they do charge a token amount for the clays.

Anyone going?
It's not the most elaborate rifle range, but the food alone is worth the price of admission.
Get an introduction to trap shooting, too. Who knows, you might like it!
Weather forecast looks like it may be overcast, but Sunday looks to be the washout day. If it's not a deluge tomorrow morning, I'll be making the trip over.

Well, inflation hasn't affected anything at Meriden. Admission still $10 and trap is $5 per round. I had a fine time...
