Bring a gun to a school, shoot some people, and get out of jail
« on: October 09, 2021, 07:29:21 PM »
Be a white guy trespassing at the U.S. capital and be jailed in solitary confinement for months.

Be a black guy shooting people in a gun free zone school, and be out of jail in a few hours.

The fight was broken up and the two students calmed down, but then Simpkins pulled out a firearm from his backpack and fired several shots that struck Selby and two other people, according to an arrest warrant.
Going to be tough to argue self defense when one takes a gun onto school property (a gun free zone) then apparently uses it after the fight was over and the two students were separated. It also doesn't look good when there are social media pictures the shooter posted that show the gun in the the door pocket of a vehicle and what appears to be a lidded jar next to the gun. The speculation is weed or other drugs were in the jar. No word on who gave the 18 year old the gun since while it's legal to possess a handgun at 18 in Texas its not legal to buy one at 18.

The whole thing is a WTF situation. Lots of spin on all sides.

Perhaps this sheds additional light on posers like Rachel Dolezal.

The defense attorney is what also astounds me, with her rhetoric, she might as well be arguing, "This beating isn't the same as other beatings, most beatings the victims are paralyzed and in this case the victims were just hospitalized" Its still a beating lmao and its certainly bad taste to throw a party after four people landed in the hospital.

Saw this posted to an ARFCOM GD thread about the shooting. No idea if accurate or true since its apparently some posts from one of the Channs. Take it for what its worth. This may be accurate it may not. There has been very little said about who is who and who entered the classroom in the videos that are on social media (https://t.co/0IpYed2fW4) showing the fight in that classroom that lead up to the shooting. (edit: click on image to expand it so you can read it)
