Site outtage
« on: November 19, 2020, 09:36:39 PM »
Something happened to the site this morning and it has been down since.

It was recovered from a 2-day old copy so we lost some posts but it is back up and running again.

Sorry for the time-out for some of you addicts. We're looking into the reason, not sure yet if it was a system issue or amalicious/hack issue.

Post on!

Thanks for the update. I thought it was down and I couldn't connect.

The site probably got overloaded trying to figure out how to display fonts on your Windows 95 COMPAQ 386sx computer.  ;D

Hey- I paid nearly $2500 for my Compaq Presario in 1995 with a 486DX2 100mHz processor and 4MB RAM. Came in that lovely toilet color beige with matching 14” monitor. I’m still trying to get my money’s worth.

I remember trying to get a compaq presario CDTV 520 from sears in danbury circa 1994, but they had a constant issue with getting them in stock. My dad said F it and got a Macintosh Performa 630 CD instead.
